We find because of the current licensing laws of the land whereby a license holder who has passed a test pre 1997 can drive a heavy goods vehicle up to seven and a half tonnes GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) we are often asked for the impossible where clients desirous of transporting three or more giant horses with a luxurious living with all the bells and whistles attached. This simply cannot be done and a compromise is necessary often in the initial design stage which needs to take in payload i.e. numbers of horses and associate weights along with all the ancillary paraphernalia that goes with them. This ancillary burden - but bear in mind vital part, is an important fact to consider apart from horse weight. A simple fact to consider when working out weight, is that 1 litre of water weighs 1 kilo. Our standard on board water tank is 130 litres, you must consider that the average 7.5 tonne vehicle has a 100 litre diesel tank. You have to consider gas bottles even though they only weigh 5.10 kilos each.

All must be considered in the initial build specifications at the design stage. We walk you through these pitfalls in an educational as well as design feature as you have to consider not only cross vehicle weight but also axle weights and loadings. Not to try and frighten you off at this stage, but it is necessary to know all of these requirements if you are to make an investment for the future, bearing in mind that whatever you purchase now has to be sold off at some future time and as legislation changes it is important that your investment conforms legally to future regulations which obviously will have a large bearing on its future second hand value. The human aspect to your lorry is now very important to its future retained second hand value. It obviously has to have sufficient facilities for your personal requirements but also needs to meet the general market requirements. Once again we hold your hand through these objects at the design stage not to influence your decision but purely on a recommended basis to ensure a high retained second hand value. I have found over the years that in any deal there actually needs to be two winners and if I win outright, then you won't come back and bearing in mind out repeat/referral client base we both need to win.

To summarise, our construction is all based on one design module which is modified i.e. stretched or shrunk to suit individual needs and means to enable you, the client, to transport your precious load legally and safely with a range of services to suit human comfort and desires. Let me tell you over the years. I have found this part enormously diverse.

We have listed a small part of the options available in our visual tour in an effort to assist you to ensure your requirements are catered for.
