Interior Design

With each specific lorry we cater for individual tastes. Layouts vary considerably dependent on size and requirements. We use your recommendations to build a 'tailor made' unit that is spacious and versatile for your comfort.

From a basic grooms area to abject luxury taking in all elements between means really 2 major considerations have to be considered, Experience shows us that an average albeit nicely appointed interior, without going over the top can add easily 650 kilos plus. When you start adding wall and base units it would be nice to think featherweight construction wouldn't add much weight but life tells us that quality is not lightweight. It has to be built with a view to lasting and sadly the only way that this can happen is by adding weight.

Further you have to take on board what most people now consider absolute essentials such as fridge, hob and sink, central heating, hot water etc, Each constitute an item adding perhaps 15-30 kg of weight isn't really much by itself until you multiply it by the numbers included. A decent floor covering because of the abuse it will suffer during its lifetime, a high quality upholstery which nowadays has to be a minimum crib 3 fire retardant covering and a totally fire proof foam which adds often upwards of 30-40 kilograms.

Despite this, our years of experience once again comes to play whereby we are able to offer a super quality interior finish/décor/colour co-ordinated package, competitively priced, in a bespoke had built product, designed and built in-house at PRB giving most clients (all but the un-reasonable) what they require within the design guidelines and weight restrictions necessary for compliance with future regulations.
